This Payment Policy explains how payments for Sun Bum orders are presented and processed.
Currency
All product prices, checkout totals, refunds, and related transaction amounts are displayed and processed in United States dollars (USD), unless the checkout clearly states otherwise.
Accepted Credit and Debit Cards
We accept eligible credit and debit cards issued through Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, JCB, Diners Club, and Discover. Card availability can depend on the issuer, billing location, and Shopify checkout configuration at the time of purchase.
We do not represent that installment plans, cryptocurrency, or any other payment method is available unless that method is visibly enabled at checkout.
Authorization and Charges
When you submit an order, your payment provider may authorize the transaction and place a temporary hold. The final charge is processed according to the checkout flow. A successful authorization does not guarantee acceptance of an order; we may cancel or review an order for inventory, pricing, fraud-prevention, or verification reasons and will release or refund any applicable charge.
Billing Information and Declined Payments
You are responsible for providing accurate card, billing, and contact details. A payment can be declined by the card issuer or payment processor for reasons including incorrect information, insufficient funds, authorization limits, or fraud controls. Please contact your issuer if it does not approve the transaction.
Payment Security
Payment information is handled through Shopify and the payment providers available at checkout. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Refunds
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. After we issue a refund, it usually takes 5–10 business days to appear, depending on the bank or card issuer. See our Refund Policy for eligibility and return instructions.
Taxes
Applicable taxes are collected as required by law and are displayed at checkout. We do not promise that every order or jurisdiction will be tax-free.
